I'd like to like him, but I really don't like his voice, and he's rather boring so I can't really watch/listen to his videos unless it's something I'm really interested in at the time

Each to their own I suppose. I gave his stuff a watch while doing painting today and thought it was quite good and informative. I also didn't find him boring either. I'm not sure if you are from the UK, if you aren't, that may be a reason for not liking his voice? People outside the UK may not be that familiar with the Scottish accent. Anyway, I thought it was good to see more BA content.

I like him, he say he’s competitive blood angels commander but in reality it’s more for entertainment and information, he’s good to listen to while painting.

I've watched a few video and I like the guy, but I think he could benefit for scripting his videos a bit more tightly, he seems to wing it a bit and loses focus in places.

 

As for the accent, it's a very marmite thing. It's not just that he's Scottish, it's a very specific kind of border/country Scots, and from what I'm told (my other half lived up there for most of her childhood) even amongst Scottish people it's hit and miss.

i don't mind a Scottish accent, his voice just sounds cliche nerdy with a tinge of whiny to me
