Hello all.

I'd like to start off by saying thank you for the acceptance.

I've been painting and playing table 40k for quite some time from 3rd Edition onwards. I first came across the game on shore leave visiting Preston and it all took off from there really. Used to purchase models here and there and paint them in my free time to just past the time.

I have played Gorka Morka, Necromunda, Epic 40k but always returned back to trusty Space Marines.

On my latest return to 40k, I had some plans set out to rebirth a lost chapter  (Dusk Raiders) and bring them kicking and screaming into a Primaris chapter but trying to find Lore and just going beyond the Rule of Cool was proving difficult. So now looking at a successor chapter or two, maybe three, and deciding which way I want to fall and which I will think will enforce my play style.

So currently looking at the following successor chapters:

Black Guard (a firm favorite at the moment)
Iron Lords
Subjugators
Angels of Damnation

Well, thank you for having a quick and warm welcome...

Welcome to the BnC The Jester!

The Black Guard are pretty snazzy, but like all Raven Guard, aren't they just one bad day away from throwing principles to the wind?

There's certain to be lore, game theory, chat and many other Astartes things to float your boat ;)

Enjoy!

MR.

Hey Razer Rackham

I agree all Raven Guard seem to be on the verge!

I'm more of a turn up on the battlefield, blast the living daylight out of my foe. Then plod around the battlefield firing an extra slug in their head just to make sure they are not getting back up, Kind of guy.

I kind of can get this from Black Guard as they are not so steeped in Raven Guard tradition. Whereas Iron Lords (Iron Hands), Subjugators (Imperial Fists) are already well known for turning up blasting the living bejesus out of their enemy, and move on to the next battle.
