Yeah I watched it too. It really comes down to board control and using terrain for LoS blocking. 2W Smites are defs key against Marines, but in essence Marines have great damage output and are super reliable, but if you're getting 15 primary points a turn against them... **Spoiler alert** Lawrence got kind of lucky on his deep strike charges, which helped alot in securing his advantage on Turn 2. The mission helped alot too (Sweep & Clear) since he could move off objectives and stop Bone getting to them while still holding them. Had they been playing Four Pillars, for example, I think the outcome could have been quite different.

 

But yeah, as I said, I think the best way to beat them is to be cagey and focus on controlling the board and objectives, making sure your reserves can come in where they need to, etc.
