OK, here's a question for all you lore-masters.

 

Do Techpriests of the Mechanicus (or -um) seconded to the Legios have any special rank or designation?

 

...or are they "normal" in those terms?

I think they’re broadly referred to as the usual magi, enginseers, etc. Not sure if there’s a larger organisational name.

 

It’s a single role but the head tech-priest of the Legio Solaria around the great crusade and heresy, the one who had ultimate authority over the tech side of things for the legion as well as many of the rituals, had the title of Vox Omni Machina. That doesn’t sound very Solaria-specific so it could be more general.

The Careers of Tech priests are shrouded in mystery unfortunately, even whether they move between forces or whether your Titan enginseer works their way up from servicing titan servitors or blessing cannon shells to finally commanding an Imperators engineering deck having never sullied themselves with a boltgun or Leman russ engine :D
