There's been a few different Mark I Terminator Armour sculpts* that've cropped up over the years, but I can't say I recognise those - these are definitely done by hand, as opposed to digitally which seem to be on the more frequent side.

*that armour has never been referred to as Saturnine - it's just an assumption by the fans, and one made even less likely by the last Terminator armour article which pin-pointed Saturnine as functionally indistinguishable from Indomitus / Tartaros, which would make Mark I = Saturnine quite odd. There was a similar suit of armour in one of Vulkan's novels that was given the name "Vulkan-pattern" by Guy Haley on Twitter, however.

I'm sorry, but those heads just remind me of these guys:

The are certainly better sculpts than the one that inspired them to be fair. I don't prefer them to other Terminator armour types but I suppose they have their own kind of charm.

Pop goes the monkey makes loyalist and deathguard Saturene Termies and has a boat load of weapon options for them:

There are some others that don't come up with that search.

They also have a nurgle deamon prince in the old style armor: https://popgoesthemonkey.com/collections/character-kit/products/grossblum-plague-demon-lord

I still think that it's a classic design personally speaking. To me it shows a sound evolutionary starting point for what was originally designed for civilians going into volatile plasma reactors. It works well being akin to the deep sea diver hard suits of today or heavy space suit designs not really intended for combat but at the time repurposed as a prototype for later combat models.

It also gave us the basic design of Storm Bolter that was abandoned for the Mk II in favor of a belt fed wrist weapon and later brought back for the Mk III which borrowed heavily from the Mk I and incorporated modified elements such as the helmet from the Mk VI Corvus design.

the technology history they used to explain better miniature designs rivals that of Bandai with Gundams. For a lot of us there is tons of nostalgia. It wasn't just the model. It was the Space hulk narrative. It was how strong they were. All the games in my memory used the 2nd ed rules. So they became the ultra BAs. I think pops versions also remind me of 5th element. I feel if i get some id need to go full RT/2nd scheme with all the decorations, checkers, heavy panel lining and goblin green bases for maximum OG status look

I had just graduate college after having been in the Navy when I started my 40k journey. Nostalgia is fine but I can do without those old days of hacking at pewter to make my Marines wysiwyg. New models new designs. I just really like the direction the design team has taken Space Marines and hope it spreads to other Factions.

They could bring Vortex Grenades back in the next Primaris release though. Lol

if anyone asked me what has caused me the most physical pain in my life...I can honestly say being this hobby. Even combat overseas can't put a drop in the bucket to what I've carved out of myself lol. I have so many scars from my childhood just on my hands Edited by Debauchery101

Found this as well, he has way more movement in his. Can so see these guys pushing up ship hallways as a literal wall in front of other marines

I backed this KS, and I have to say they're rather nice.
