The unit for this week is the Rhino. Each week a different unit will appear, with the idea being that we discuss how best to use that model on the battlefield. Questions: 1. General first thoughts and impressions of the unit? 2. How would you use said unit, to compliment a list, or to build a list around? 3. What other units/strategems synergize with it to give it that extra shine? 4. Miscellaneous use/Tips and Tricks? BONUS: Creative ways to use units that wouldn't be obvious at first. Icosiel Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I've always loved the Rhino chassis. It's just such a cool, classic unit. There's something very charming about it. But my lists are traditionally all Terminators, so there's no job for a Rhino in my brotherhood. Archadeus Posted January 8, 2021 Share Posted January 8, 2021 Please stop bringing transports in your lists, we pay points for deepstriking... i suggest you use it. unless youre bringing them for cheap screens/ objective holders. That is where this unit really shines. Great mobility, decent toughness/wounds for price. Stick a unit behind them with astral aim and objective secured/mid board held. The only problem is the possible chance fof exploding and taking MW . Which is why i like sending them off as lone rangers or sticking them in the backfield.
