So for example could you use DttFE during overwatch ? Dr_Ruminahui Posted January 11, 2021 Share Posted January 11, 2021 If DttFE means Death to the False Emperor, that isn't a strategem or a shooting ability - its the unit ability that gives Chaos exploding 6s in close combat versus imperial forces. Do you mean Veterans of the Long War, the stratagem that gives +1 to wound rolls? Can't seem to find it in my Mission Pack booklet - I'll look in the main rule book when I'm home tonight. You are correct that stratagems can only be used in the appropriate phase and not on actions that occur "as if" it were that phase. It's on page 204 of the Main Rules in the box labelled "Out of Phase Rules." That's page 62 of the Mission Pack booklet.
