Danosborne Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 So what do we know about Lucian Ventris other than he was a terminator sergeant who died at the polar fortress during the battle for Macragge? The reason I ask is because I am building a 2000 point terminator list with the sole intention of recreating part of that battle. I have converted a terminator captain to represent Saul invictus with his plasma blaster and I would really like to include Ventris in there for a bit more flavour, but I would liken to know if he had any special wargear, or if he had earned any battle honours which I could incorporate into his armour, but I’m struggling to find anything other than the most basic information. I’m happy to create some of my own non-canon backstory if none exists but if there is any canon for him I would prefer to use it. If any of you fraters out there have any info for me to pep up this army, or recommendations for BL reads which could educate me on the subject, I would be most appreciative! I’m thinking that they probably invented him purely as part of Uriel’s backstory, but I think it would add some nice flavour to the army! A while back I was looking for info on Lucian as well. To date this from the Lexicanum is still the most detail we have on him. Given that, I think you're safe to build your own lore without being upended by GW. There is a lot of outlined lore out there that was meant to be filled in by the fans, and I'm sure this is one example.
