So due to being a prisoner in my own home, I have decided to return to 40K after a 5 year break to get married and have kids and to do a university degree. So I decided instead of going back to my Darl Angels or World Eaters or Imperial Guard, and to start a new Army, well chapter at least, and use the Primaris Marines. I really like the Assault Intercessors and the idea of a close combat army, I suppose I can't completely purge the Berzerker out of me. I'm going to write up a comprehensive break down of the chapter, why not, not much else to do while I'm taking a break from painting and doing the housework. So I'll be adding to this topic regularly.

Notable Battles and EventsNone yet, Chapter recently deployed from Mars.

Chapter NotesAll Chapter members recruited from Albyon and Old Albia. After full implantation and induction completed, entire chapter entered “The Games”, a competition of bouts of sword combat, to decide the Chapters chain of command, the winner became the chapter master, the runner up became the first company captain. Companies are known as Blades, and so members of each company are called Blades (Blade Captain, Blade LT, Blade Sergeant, Blade Veteran, Blade Brother). The majority of the chapter is based around close combat, and so the most common units are Assault Intercessors and Outriders, but for tactical reasons standard Intercessors and Hell blasters are also fielded in each Blade. Heavy support is provided by Chapters Techmarines and Armourium in the form of Gladiators, Repulsors and Impulsors. Fleet based chapter, deployed in recovered and refurbished Astartes ships recovered from sites of chapter extinctions, and vessels newly built in orbit of Mars.

Do they still recruit from Albyon and Old Albia? If not, how/where do they recruit new aspirants?

Since their nomenclature is blade focused can I see "the Broken" or "Broken Blades" as a title for battle-brothers who have dishonoured themselves

Chapter Motto: Blades of the Emperor

This sounds very passive, and will lead to others mistakingly assuming the Chapter name is "Blades of the Emperor". I advise revising it as "We are the Emperor's blades! Cut down His enemies!"

Chapter Notes: All Chapter members recruited from Albyon and Old Albia. As this is a newfound Chapter, this is an acceptable initial means of determining the chain-of-command. It will NOT be acceptable in the future, as a Space Marine leader must demonstrate more than close combat skills- tactics, strategy, logistics, diplomacy, etc. How will the Warblades choose their leaders in the future? Or do you intend to deny them a future, e.g., say the Chapter was corrupted and turned to Chaos, so the obvious shortcomings of determining the chain-of-command solely on the leaders' close combat skills, is a perfectly acceptable means for Khorne worshipers?

Good idea! Maybe those seeking redemption for their dishonor, may volunteer for a Blood Angels Death Company-like unit, and join suicide missions, to become "Reforged Blades"?
