I seem to remember that long time ago I read somewhere that either Crone worlds or Maiden worlds were originally Necron Tomb worlds and were settled/guarded by Eldar in order to watch for the signs of awakening. The Unseen Posted January 29, 2021 Share Posted January 29, 2021 Crone Worlds are Eldar homeworlds that got dragged/were inside the Eye of Terror when it opened. Maiden worlds were places the ancient Aeldari empire had seeded with life to be later colonized, but never actually settled on because of the birth of Slaanesh, save for the Exodite worlds. Maiden worlds just look like wonderful life sustaining planets ripe for colonization, until your 20 generations in on an Imperial colony and suddenly Eldar, Craftworld, Drukhari, Exodite, or Corsairs, it doesn't matter, none of them like "their" worlds being overrun, and the colony gets slaughtered. The "nice" eldar allow humans to evacuate, on an impossible time-scale.
