Right, so another forum I'm on has a testing zone subforum where you can only see your posts. The idea is to make sure your bbcode works, test out formatting for more in depth posts, that kind of thing. Also you can use it to store something you're working on before you unleash the finished product on an unsuspecting forum.

 

Just wondering if we could have a similar thing here? It'd be handy for getting your Index Astartes articles worked out if nothing else.

The software doesn't support a private forum for each individual member. At best we might have a testing forum that people can use to prepare posts, but everything would be visible to everyone.

 

When we complete the software upgrade, we'll have blog functionality back. If these blogs work in a manner similar to our previous blogs, members will be able to use blogs in a manner similar to what you're suggesting. The privacy would come from not publishing a post, simply using it to work on BBCode composition.

Yes, so many of the "discussions" we have here are actually logs of some sort, so restoring improved blog functionality is high up on our list of things to include. We'll have more word on this in the future.
