You can get a land raider for your terminators, and get the vanguard detachment, and do it for a fair price

 

215p buys you a land raider excelsior, pay 15 points for the land raider to be inducted into the deathwing, you can then spend 215pts for 3 thunder hammers with an lcs pair and a CML, a redemptor with deathwing, and a relic terminator squad round out the detachment for a total of approximately 830pts

 

with your second detachment you need only assign the other HQ as your warlord, whatever that might be. you could run a rhino primaris for bs2+ for your raider and distance repairs, and you pay 0 points for both detachments, or maybe a primaris techmarine for the same bonus and better repairs at the cost of range. or you could take a chaplain

 

this is incredibly powerful, being able to simply assult your terminators out means you can get 6" charges very reliably, you dont need to take some other deathwing HQ as a tax, nor do you need to kill yourself trying to get a unit to deepstrike with at best a 7" charge, the land raider will carry your terminators to the front of the table action, and can shrug off some superhuman damage. ive seen whole squads of vanguard veterans throw themselves at it and do nothing, and contemptors mass smash it with meltas and fists and fail to break its thick hide thanks to 5++ nand repairs from the primaris. 

 

im going to railroad someone with this, im not sure what someone is expected to do when terminators will assault you and will stamp you out from a land raider with shocking reliability and then no foe to great, and lay low the mighty off the land raider (should i pay 1 cp for a second warlord trait here).
