de Selby
I picked up a set of the 'Indomitus' playing cards that GW released at Christmas, with 40k art on each card. 6,7,9 of chaos are the respective cult marines, and the 6 is this Emperor's Children champion I haven't seen before. http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/gallery/image/295698-20210207-033845/ Is this old art that I've missed, or a clue to the range redesign? 8 of chaos is a bloodcrusher, sadly. WARMASTER_
It’s Telemachon Lyras from the black legion books by ADB. I’m really hoping visually they go this way with the new models but unfortunately the art is just from the books de Selby and Halandaar 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368932-emperors-children-art-indomitus-playing-cards/#findComment-5664771 Share on other sites
de Selby
Mystery solved, thanks. I thought maybe I'd discovered something I too hope we see some models like this. The shoulder pads are reminiscent of the new Slaanesh warriors for AoS. Annatar Giftbringer
That picture is also in the CSM codex, next to the wargear list on p.119, so definitely old art you’ve missed :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/368932-emperors-children-art-indomitus-playing-cards/#findComment-5665965 Share on other sites
