I have not played for the last several editions, so I’m interested in what others are building. If I may, why the Heavy Plasma Incinerators on the Hellblasters? If I did my math right, the only advantage they have over the assault variant is against T7 models, and even then only very slightly. However, they do have longer range and I’m not sure how much weight I should be placing on how much safer they are to overcharge. What factors influenced your decision to use the Heavy variant? Thanks!

The idea is to use them with the heavy intercessors to off elite infantry, walkers and pull AT duty when the inceptors and eradicators die off. Everything else should be able to manage lower quality enemy infantry. I thought about the rapid fire version, but that would make most of my force push mid table, but this gives me options for a second line/ back feild, flank protection etc. Having a CSM background, I have an agressive playstyle with an eye to counter-punch/ bully an opening- and I'll peice trade those inceptors and eradicators to do it. Before the points nerf on eradicators + Inceptors, the OG list was going to be indomni Lt and x4 dakka ATV, I don't see x2 dakka ATVand x1 speeder as good though. Its in therory anyways.
