I came across this image on the Gameswork store:

That is a model of a stormtalon correct? Meaning that it's on a 120mm x 92mm base, which would also mean that is a pretty long, curved flying stem.

Still, that's not the standard flying stem that comes with that flyer right (the usual is the crossed, clear flying stand). So, does anyone know where to get this curved flying stem from (eg. is it from an AoS model?).

Or does it also come in the box as an alternative, or even if there are any tutorials or alternatives for a curved stand of that height? At least around 80mm tall would be tall enough.

Still, that's not the standard flying stem that comes with that flyer right

It is as of 9th Edition; when the kit was reboxed in the new packaging style it also started being packed with this new flightstand, which is the new standard. The Stormspeeder uses it too.

Yup, can confirm my Admech Fusilave bomber came with this stand instead of the previous one. Must be for all fliers going forward.

How do you find it's performance? Any issues?

I've checked bitz stores and ebay, and no listings of the new stand at all (yet?). So, I presume people have been satisfied with it's use.

I have an idea of using it for a non-flyer / non-aircraft model, so if it support those heavier just fine, then it should do even better for a smaller and lighter model - which is good. But if people don't feel the need of using something else, then they won't have the need of selling it - which is bad, if you're looking just to get the stand separately.

To be fair it's only graced one battle (It got shot down by a Tyrannofex, which it crashed into, exploded and killed). The Bomber's not glued to the base so I have stored them separately, for good reason as you will see:

It is hidden by a Pegasus Hobbies Chemical Plant storage tank just because I felt like detailing the base pretty heavily. It's held up well so far but as I say, it's not had that much use yet.
