Firedrake Cordova
Is there a phone/tablet version of Photoshop (or similar)? A quick search suggests there's a few sites that will do it in-browser, including Adobe Express. The main thing when shrinking images is to give them a light "unsharp mask" or "high-pass sharpening" to pick out the edges and fine detail that gets slightly muddied. jimbo1701 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/369161-jimbos-plog-armies-of-all-shapes-and-sizes/page/13/#findComment-6125564 Share on other sites

There is, and it's free and what I use, cropping and resizing are super straight forward, and has a bunch of colour correction tools too Firedrake Cordova 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/369161-jimbos-plog-armies-of-all-shapes-and-sizes/page/13/#findComment-6125568 Share on other sites
jimbo1701
I used photoshop express for the above but it puts a watermark on unless you pay a sub. jimbo1701
Finished the mechanicus scenery. Was hoping to spray this weekend but ill child and wife fracturing ankle has put things on hold for a while. moving on to assemble some xenos terrain in the form of the deathworldforest which is a pain to work with. Looking forward to the Templar release very much! Firedrake Cordova
The scenery looks great, but it would appear Lord Tzeentch is intent on scuppering your plans to get it painted! Thanks brother. afraid tzeentch and nurgle both conspiring against me but (heresy) there are some things more important than 40K. Whoever designed the deathworld forest kit needs talking to…. jimbo1701
Update: got my xenos terrain sorted mainly deathworld forest which needs a spray alongside the Mechanicus stuff. Next onto imperial city terrain. In the meantime painting some reinforcements for a game with new templars next week. Firedrake Cordova
I like the middy tyres. Although, doesn't the mud-encrusted leading edge of the mud-guard imply they've been reversing? jimbo1701 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/369161-jimbos-plog-armies-of-all-shapes-and-sizes/page/13/#findComment-6126956 Share on other sites

Very un-Templar to use the reverse gear. ggergnayr 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/369161-jimbos-plog-armies-of-all-shapes-and-sizes/page/13/#findComment-6126971 Share on other sites
jimbo1701
Had a great game with the templars the other night. Lost but it was great fun to run the list. Some progress on scenery and chaos stuff but no pics at present. Instead here’s my deployment from the other night. jimbo1701
Small update as lots of hobby bits going on much nothing much worth reporting or posting at the mo. I have, however, transferred 4 armies now into plastic storage with magnets which is much better than slung in cardboard boxes. I’m hoping by Xmas all my Templars will be painted to tabletop and the alaitoc to the same standard as here (tho the wasps and one Vyper are just tabletop at present) Dr_Ruminahui, Rusted Boltgun, Kurgan the Lurker and 5 others 4 4 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/369161-jimbos-plog-armies-of-all-shapes-and-sizes/page/13/#findComment-6131780 Share on other sites

jimbo1701
Apologies for the radio silence - nothing worth sharing at present as it’s mainly sorting and assembling terrain. Hopefully my terrain project is almost at an end in the next few weeks so I can round off the year working on csm projects. The move to plastic storage continues with the sons of orar now packed away nicely alongside their pile o potential. Tbh not sure if I will add them all ultimately or pass them to other projects - the momentum has waned for that army at the moment so not sure when I will revisit. Got a game in with the Templars the other day - first time using my own scenery for a board. Must try and get a double sided mat sometime. Lost horribly but worth it! jimbo1701
Quick update. I’ve sprayed up the wall of martyrs and done some repairs to some scenery. This little lot represents about 15 years of collecting scenery and the wall was the last piece I wanted to represent this imperial outpost. They’ll need a unified paint scheme at some point and not pictured are some more aegis line parts but the board was looking a bit cramped. jimbo1701
While we’re at it here is the alaitoc army finally in boxes. Mostly done just trying to tie up some loose ends such as the avatar, wraithlord, bikes and Wraithknight.
