I found I had plenty of spares from my Marine bits, but that said I have generally used melta more. It's not too much work to convert depending on the what/how if you haven't already check the Command Squad boxes as they will give you some ideas :tu:

You can use the space marine plasma guns ordered from GW, or you could comb eBay, you will likely get fleeced by bits sellers if you want a quantity of plasma, so you are better buying used job lots of usually poorly painted troopers armed with plasma.

3rd party bits sellers are also an option. Kromlech sells beautiful plasma guns, easily convertible to just about any trooper modelled holding a lasgun.

Plenty of 3rd party options

There's also some GW options since the size is about the same between SM and IG guns

I use mad robot minis for plasma and melta. Chop off a grenade launcher for the plasma and melta i use the cadian arm set that doesnt have the hand molded onto the lasrifle. They are scaled better for human size. Edited by mertbl

I didn't think they still had bits.

They have a very limited selection of bitz packs which they dont really advertise. Meltas, plasmas and jump packs spring to mind, along with various vehicle upgrade frames, but they don't really advertise them.
