Hello everyone. I got the dreadnought heavy bolters from pop goes the monkey right before the FW book dropped, since we all lost Mortis dreadnoughts I figured to figure out a mounting solution for my contemptor. Please let me know what you think.

They look pretty good - the angles do (in my mind - probably not the best place to be getting inspiration from) look a bit like his doing a bit of a jaunty walk swinging his 'arms and humming a tune about going off to purge some heretics....

I like the way you have joined them to the body - makes them fit the theme a lot more and adds a nice bit of extra detail to the flat inside of most boxnaught arms that are more exposed in this setup

I've imagined this before, nice to see it work! Using the inside arm connections from the contemptor helps tie it together. More photo angles appreciated!

I plan on painting up the heavy bolters this evening. I’ll post more pictures then

makes for a pretty seamless conversion when painted up. Very good!

I may have to give it a go myself with the twin autocannons sets I have if I can ever find them.

Yea after forge world dropped the standard Mortis dreadnought I had to figure out something to do with them
