Greetings, my name is Arthur, professional dreamer and amateur writer.

I have been a WH40K fan for about 2 months and most of my knowledge about the hobby comes from TTS and a few Horus Heresy books I own. I’ve been wanting to get into the hobby proper and write about my own Blood Angels successors, the Revenant Children, as well as some stories about my Lost Legions. But there is just one problem, I don’t know where to start, I’m lost, and I would like some directions.

Feel free to ignore this post if you want, but some help would be appreciated. I thank you all in advance and I hope to contribute to the ever-growing fandom of Warhammer 40K.

P.S. – English is not my first language, so forgive me if I misspell some words.

Mostly on where I can post my ideas, my main project is the Revenant Children successor chapter, but I also have some ideas for Lost Legions/Primarchs. I would like to know where it would be most appropriate to post about them, like, is there some thread that is specific to Lost Legions? What about a thread for successor chapters?

For example: there is a section of the B&C forums called "Liber Astartes", should I post my ideas for the Revenant Children there?

Yes, the Liber Astartes forum is probably the best place to post about both your Revenant Children and your lost legions/primarchs ideas. You might also check out both the Age of Darkness and Special Projects forums. The former is about the Horus Heresy and you'll find a wealth of information and feedback therein. The latter includes multiple forums about lost legions/primarch, so you might find some information of interest (and potentially see some things that you might want to avoid in your own endeavors). Lastly, the Blood Angels forum seems like a likely place for you to spend a lot of time as this forum is focused on all of the successors of the Blood Angels Legion. Naturally, The Forge is a great place to share pictures of your modeling efforts and to give/find help with the various aspects of converting, modeling, and painting miniatures.

Welcome to the site! We're looking forward to seeing your work.
