Some of this is taking so long that I can't even get salty anymore, just a bit dejected. I love the models, but it taking a year is just disappointing.

That helmet is awesome though, they should've previewed it with that. I don't quite know why they do that, they sculpt these awesome helmets and don't show them off. I would think you would want to show off the best it can look.

This is the last of the releases that have been previewed previously, right? Can't think of anything else we know we are waiting for.

Also reinforces my theory that the next Black Book will be Shadow Crusade themed, not Mars.

If only being salty about release timelines worked on everything, we'd be on Book 20 by now!

The sculpts are very solid, minus the really bad flame. I think the major let down as per all of Heresy previews in the last three years, the paintjob is just garbo. If you slide this next to any of the old FW Word Bearers' stuff, both will look incredibly alien, down to the base job and scheme, to the actual red of the armor.

Though this debunks the massive amount of folks who were arguing these were for sure plastic... hmm...

...imma turn this guy into a traitor Ultramarine esoterist...

Yes...

I'm planning on using him as the base for a Loyalist (but really messed up dude) Space Wolf Esoterist who basically stumbled across Daemons on Prospero but for whatever reason didn't perish and Daemon shenanigans follow him. The rest of the Legion know there's something definitely not quite right about him but they can't actually prove anything so just shun/watch over him. I'm still writing the fluff.

(I'd like to point out I doubt he'll ever see the table and I'll tone him down a bit, the delicious hypocrisy is just too good).
