Hi. I have a game tomorrow. 3000pts vs. my friend's Death Guard. Going to use the Chapter Approved 2020 mission packet most likely and wing it. It's "matched play" and we are just looking to put up a good fight with each other and have a game that could go either way between all the Primary/Secondary and murder-y goodness

I know he is bringing at least Mortarion, 3x Plagueburst Crawlers and 1x Defiler. It's a possibility that he will have a brick of 10 Blightlords but maybe not. I cannot alter the miniatures. Everything is painted so this game will primarily be us showcasing our stuff for the store and encouraging some 40k, will be WYSIWYG and I do not own anything else.

I think the 5 DWTs will just plant feet on a home objective and chill out for that one Secondary. Usually works out pretty well. Since I don't have 10 of them for Deathwing Assault strat, I figured this is more appropriate and they might as well start on the table. Tactics thoughts are welcome

Deathwing Vanguard Detachment

Terminator Captain- Relic Blade, Shield, Inexorable (Warlord)

Terminator Librarian- Storm Bolter, Engulfing Fear, Mind Wipe

Terminator Ancient- "That Banner, ugh"

Terminator Apothecary

5 DWTs- Cyclone ML

5 DWKs

Deathwing Redeemer

Ravenwing Outrider Detachment

Bike Captain

Talonmaster

Ravenwing Apothecary- Chief Apothecary, Selfless Healer

Ravenwing Ancient- Chapter Banner

5 Black Knights- Corvus Hammer x5

5 RW Bikes- Plasma Gun x2

5 RW Bikes- Plasma Gun x2

5 RW Bikes- Melta Gun x2

3x Typhoon Speeders- Multi Melta x3

Darkshroud Speeder

Vengeance Speeder

..give or take a few points or two.. I will verify before the game again. Cheers

I'd drop the Land Raider Redeemer and take a ton of Multi-melta attack bikes. You can throw one into each RW bike squad, and with remaining points I'd add more DWKs and RWBKs to get more mid/high strength high damage, as death guard you need a lot of that firepower.
