As I rotate models I am painting on my desk(as if I would ever paint two units from the same army in a row or at the same time) my orks are on the bench. I have a few more odds and ends to work on with my standard goff list before it is complete then I was thinking about something like this for fun to really throw people off if I tell them I am playing orks in advance.

Still not sure on the super heavy detachment's culture and whether it makes a difference as to my primary battalion.

Goff Battalion

Warboss w/Kustom Force Field

Warboss- Da Biggest Boss, da Killa Klaw, kombi-weapon with rokkit Launcha, Kunning but brutal

Boyz x18 with slugga choppa(Skar Boyz if facing a toughness 4 army) power klaw on the nob

Boyz x10 slugga choppa power klaw on nob (rides in trukk)

Boyz x10 slugga choppa Big Choppa on nob (hangs back on rear field duty but could easily swap with grots for same duty)

Kommandos x5 (objective takers)

Pain Boy

Stormboyz x10 with power Klaw on nob

Battlewagon 'ard case, Deff Rolla, grot rigger

GunWagon with Da' Boomer

Trukk

Super Heavy Detachment- Death Skulls

Kill Tank -Bursta Kannon

Kill Tank- Giga Shooter

Kill Tank- Giga Shooter

Should provide target overload on a normal opponent's AT meanwhile dropping a ton of fire on them. Not sure whether deffskulls is the best culture for the super heavies. Flash gitz might be good overall? Enough boyz to do various things around the battlefield including the all important charging. The stormboyz and Kommandos primary job will be scoring points so I am tempted to just bring two minimum stormboyz squads with no upgrades just to bounce around instead of the one bigger squad.

Central Battlewagon with big mek, warboss, painboy, and 17 (Skar)Boyz is my standard beat stick whose job it is to go after the toughest centerpiece while they are backed up by the truk with 10 boyz.

Plan in general would be to roll up the center in a wedge with the battlewagon and 3 super heavies leaving them in the middle while the truk and

deff rolla  BW continue to close. Da' Boomer sits back and does fire support. while commandos, rear squad, and stormboyz raise flags, get in corners and so forth.

I could also drop the storm boyz to base 5 dudes, drop commandos, and turn the rear line boyz into grots and have enough points to add in a 5 man tankbustas unit in a second truck but this reduces my flag raisers to the grots and a storm boyz unit.

I think you have a solid plan. I'm hesitant on how good/durable a mob of 18 boys can be. Maybe find the points to bump them up to full size? My first thoughts are swapping the third Boyz unit and the painboy would probably free up the points.

I would also go with the two stormboyz units for objective purposes over the one bigger unit. Easier to hide and can be in multiple places.

The 17 is because they all ride in the deff rolla battle wagon with the three characters. That's almost a standard in all my lists, sometimes its 18 because I bring Ghaz and have an open spot in the wagon. I am thinking though that the tankbustas addition while dropping the stormboyz to 5, ditching the commandos and using gretchin instead of the 3rd boyz squad is a better plan. An extra vehicle with guys inside that cant be ignored, but then neither can almost anything else. Hopefully mass chaos will ensue.
