Xenith
+18 on the lictors is the killer for me. That was just unneccessary. They can score points, yet, but they do little else. I dont see how GW rates them the same as a MM attack bike... WarriorFish
Looks like the Warrior weapons largely counter the base cost increase? There are some nice changes such as Fexes but the Lictor increase does seem the odd one out. I'm not sure what GW's weighting is for the potential to score points but it seems a bit off here XeonDragon 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/370463-tyranids-chapter-approved-point-changes-leak/#findComment-5705117 Share on other sites
Arson Fire
Sorry but you've got the old fake leak there. Someone threw that together for a joke I think. If you look very closely you can see where they didn't quite photoshop the weapon name under the harpy, and it says 'Heavy stubber'. Which is an odd weapon for a harpy to have There's also another page to that leak floating around somewhere which shows genestealers still at 15 points. Which we know isn't right due to the recent Warhammer Community article which said they were going down to 13. Since that appeared, some other much more realistic looking leaked images have appeared. The more recent ones have fewer changes. To sum them up: Swarmlord -30 points Genestealers -2 points Tervigon -20 points Trygon Prime -15 points Dimachaeron +25 points. https://imgur.com/gallery/nEpxisE (These images are available in English now. I previously had them only in Italian. I've edited my post to link to the english ones) There's still some debate over whether these are real, due to the existence of the MV52 shield drone on the tau point costs above them (only visible in the original Italian version I had posted). This was Shadowsuns old drone in her codex datasheet, which no longer exists in her updated datasheet from The Greater Good psychic awakening book. So it seems odd that it's included here. But overall it seems more likely than the previous leaks. Especially now that we have them in multiple languages. Xenith
Ah good, bit strange indeed, but GW has occasionally made typos in their documents. The reductions seem interesting, hopefully lictors dont go up. Tervigons need a huge point reduction, and are one instance where PL/Points should not match. They can be good when using PL, but useless with points.
