Madian
I know this is a weird nitpick but have a look at all the 3rd party bits makers out there for Space Wolves not to mention Space Marines in general. None of them have arms to attach to the shields they make. Then on top of that they don't typically include arms to attach to them anywhere else on their pages. I'm assuming we just cut the bolter off of a regular arm and use that to attach the shield to? Seems it would have been easier just to make an arm! For those of you who've bought 3rd party shields, what did you use for the arms? Closet Skeleton
GW can't copy write the concept of a shield but a space marine arm would be a pretty clear IP violation. Gherrick
Our power armor sprues have a TON of leftover arms + weapons to pick from. Snip the weapon off at the wrist, and fit it onto a shield without much of an issue. This gives us quite a bit of choice on the pose. There are very few arms that don't work (there's one arm in particular holding a bolt pistol that has a 90 degree bend at the elbow which won't fit on a shield, but that might be the only one).
