Dr_Ruminahui Posted June 16, 2021 Share Posted June 16, 2021 I'm planning on building a chaos lord with jump pack and a thunderhammer, as I don't have a lord with a thunderhmmer yet and I figure a lord with a jump pack is the best place to put one. That brings up the question of what the best secondary weapon is for him? Marshal Loss Posted June 16, 2021 Share Posted June 16, 2021 Operating on the assumption that you actually want to use the thunder hammer, if you're looking for another melee weapon, definitely a lightning claw - it's only 5pts and you get an extra swing with that on top of your thunder hammer attacks. A chainsword would be the second best choice. Third place would just be a plain old bolt pistol for me to throw out point-blank Daemon Shells. Combi plasma if on foot, plasma pistol if using wings/jump pack etc. Though I think slash winged lords are better for us generally at the moment!
