d3 blast weapons?

So I have another question about my Redemptor dreadnoughts. They are equipd with the Icarus rocket pod, wich is a heavy d3 Blast weapon.

 

Blast weapons have a minimum of 3 attacks against 6+ model units and minimum 6 attacks against 11+ units.

 

How does this work on a d3 weapon? this it always has 3 shots against 6+ units and thats it?

As above. Against 11+ it's maximum number though, not minimum 6 (not relevant here, but with other weapons it can be)

That language is relevant, however, even for D3 weapons if someone is arguing they get 6 hits against 11+ models - which is why, as handy as making ones own short rules descriptions can be for remembering the rules, when in doubt always check the actual rule in the rulebook rather than one's own abbreviated version.
