Valkyrion
I'm looking for sitting down in a chair style legs (i.e not biker legs). Any sort of armoured range will probably do - stormcast, fantasy chaos, third party - but it would be for a space marine. I'm struggling a bit so any suggestions would be great! LameBeard
Can’t think of anything obvious. Here’s me clutching at straws: Sitting in the landspeeder too much landspeeder? Sitting in the attack bike sidecar? Dead space hulk terminator slumped in chair? Phobos sitting in the Walker with cage thing that is not a Dreadnought? Valkyrion
The dead terminator is kinda what I'm after, aside from being £40 on ebay...! It's not quite right though, would involve too much cutting for what I want to do. The other legs you mention aren't very naturally posed for sitting - they are too close together to look right. Appreciate the effort though, I think I've clicked on every single item on GW's website by now! LameBeard
So looks like you will convert. Maybe one leg from the kneeling space marine in the command sprue and another bent mark 6 leg from the assault marine sprue. Just £70 I guess. Lucien Eilam
Look no farther:http://www.solegends.com/citads1988a/198899rt2/fly198899rt2r2-rt105-01.jpgSeriously though, I think first-party options are going to need radical reposing. It’s not as hard as you’re probably expecting to cut apart the different armour plates, repose, and then re-sculpt the soft armour with putty. I’ve mostly done it for dynamic tactical rock/catalogue model poses, but it should be possible for a seated pose. If you start with kneeling legs (Mark VI from the old command squad, Mark VI with bracing from the Devastator kit), you’re kind of halfway there already, you just need to rebuild the other leg. Valkyrion
I don't suppose anyone has a better picture of the guys from the Damocles do they? https://www.forgeworld.co.uk/en-GB/Damocles-Command-Vehicle Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/370782-looking-for-sitting-down-legs/#findComment-5713506 Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
Found this. I think the Mars-pattern Damocles is “properly” NLA though, and the Deimos version doesn’t include internal detail.
