BA and the Chapter Master upgrade

Quick question.

Is it possible for a BA army (playing as BA and not some count-as or something) to upgrade a Captain to Chapter Master?

Yes. This is to represent Blood Angels successor chapters, The BAs before Dante was appointed CM or simply "what if" scenarios.

 

I am still undecided on the value of the upgrade. I think that the Gift of Foresight WLT is a better and more flexible way of buffing your CM. Then again, if you are running a big blob of Terminators, rerolling those 1-3s in melee could be worthwhile.

As previously stated, yes, you can upgrade a Blood Angels captain to Chapter Master. However, you cannot field your upgraded captain and Commander Dante in the same army (There can only be one Chapter Master!)
