Best bjorn loadouts?

I'm thinking either multimelta, cause it's cheap but maybe the lascannon has it's merits as a long range objective camper?

 

Ass cannon just doesn't seem like it has enough shots to challenge scitarii/sisters blobs.

 

Talking competitive here. Thoughts?

Lascannon if you have the points and MM if you dont

 

S9 and 48" are worth it

 

 

Make sure you use company vets for bodyguard too...best way to keep Bjorn alive

 

I have a saga about Bjorn with lots of batreps if you want to see him in action

I would probably go MM since Bjorn normally wants to get up close and tangle with the enemy. I can see the benefits of lascannons, particularly if you are lacking long range elsewhere but I feel Bjorn would be wasted as an Objective camper. The other options seem a bit lacklustre by comparison. The Assault Cannon is decent but Marines have never lacked for volume anti-infantry fire. Maybe T5 Orks will make me reevaluate the Assault Cannon.

If it’s twin las that’s how I’d run him. Wounding everything on 3+ or better has its merits plus he’s very accurate.

I always struggle shooting with Bjorn even in 7th

I always used to run him with twin lascanons, because I liked to keep him in my backfield as a keeper and have a guaranteed turn one shooting.

 

But these day's I move my whole army up, and since bjorn is one of the slowest he's not in the front line anyway I move him up 6" aswell, to get him to the midboard, where most likely the enemy will come aswell. so multimelta's do great for me now, and save's me quit some points.
