Snaketeefs Waargh is starting out with a boss and some boyz as all good waaarghs should. This is potentially snaketeef with a big dakka. He will have 20 boys and a nob to boss around. This could be the first army I ever actually complete so I can play against my friend so feel free to help me out.

They snakebite orks, a ship full of orks was destroyed long ago in a battle against nurgles worshippers. The ships remains hurtled in a ball of metal and flames and crashed straight into a jungle planet corrupted by nurgle, penetrating deep into the planets crust beneath the mud into a network of caves.... The ship was destroyed...... the ork spores lived on unnoticed and multiplied.

The waaargh will be snakebite in style, using salvaged metal and weapons from the ships remains and planets surface. The skin will be not green but pale though due to their development in the caves and potentially genetic taint from the residual bio hazards left by nurgle.

Subtly tainted Nurgle orks? Sounds like a neat concept!

Looking forward to more updates, that boss looks promising indeed.

See I was just trying to justify pale skin orks but then you went and said that..... NURGLE ORKKKSSS (but only a little bit nurgly) .......

In the deepest darkest caves, forgotten beneath the wartorn surface of the jungle planet something scuttled around the dank wet places as the ork spores multiplied and grew....

NURGLINGS, and as the monstrous mutant pale orks multiplied they mistook these gnawing disease ridden nurgling for snotling and grots.

Little did they know that nurgles pox and rot was being further spread amongst their growing waaargh. Obliviously inviting these tiny creatures to crawl upon them, scratch them, feed them, to serve them and even provide an occasional squishy snack with their putrid tiny bodies. Whether or not snaketeef knew they were all sickie noone knows, they knew nothing else, even if they did would the orks even care?

Indeed these tiny nurgling did a fine job. Alas da old ways are da best

Just trying to get snaketeefs drummer ready to do a paint scheme test on. Once first layer of his mohawk is dry I will add some texture and blend in his boils plus add some open wounds and rot. Also rope to hold his bang stick end on.

A small voice, delirious in its tone, muttered endlessly into the orks ear as he slumbered. What was the nurgling saying? Who knows.

Suddenly the ork erupted up into a bloodthirsty rage, firing round upon round into the ceiling of snaketeefs dark dank cave. The nurglings and snotlings rejoiced together squeeling with delight as small chunks of rock rained down around them.

I guess your making Nork snaggabites :biggrin.:

Great concept and idea's really looking forwards to seeing your finished models, i hope you do finish you Sickly green tide... you gotta model up some hoods on some of the  nurglings to look like Night gobbo's (being underground in caves and all  )

Good luck with the project!!

Cheers Mithril. It's hard to make amy progress in between work and small children but we will get there. This forum gives me some encouragement in sharing my progress.

Didnt realise how fiddly it is sculpting hair. Hopefully will get my test mini finished this week so I can get my skin recipe and make sure the boils and wounds I'm adding look ok after being painted. Fun fun fun

I've messed it up too much agrax earthshade I think. I'm going to try again. The mouth is quite messy too. Maybe I will paint in teeth nails etc and just see how he looks. If anyone knows any good pale skin recipes let's me know and help me with critique and pointers as I've hardly done any painting

Made like a silver back gorilla looking ork with a little pot belly out of the top of a savage orruk and the legs of a boyz ork. Had to cut the legs off the savage orruk and cut the neck about a little bit aswell.

Might add some downward pointing horns and file down the lizard looking thing on his belly and put a glyph or icon there. Couple of accessories to his waistline too I think.

What do you think guys does he look ok? I'm not a seasoned hand with these toys like you guys but I'm having a laugh trying.
