OK, didn't have my codex with me when thinking about the power. Nice one to cast when in combat for a little surprise for the enemy. Drop a few Mortals in the Psychic Phase, blast them with 4 shots per man and hopefully free ourselves up to charge something else. Axilleas Posted August 17, 2021 Share Posted August 17, 2021 True, but you'd probably have a hard time finding a unit that is not a Teleporter unit that would also benefit meaningfully from turning its bolters into pistols, fringe cases aside. Besides, I see the stratagem as a redundancy. Psychic power didn't go off or pistols didn't finish the job? No problem, as long as you still have a cp to spare.
