I want to make a Kill team that while will probably never be played that is actually rules legal (I don't play anymore).

Can you help me with a list

I have a few stipulations though

1) 100pts

2) Has to have a mixture of Scouts, Firstborn, and Primaris.

3) Can have no more than 10 marines in total

Yeah, which makes playing anything but the armies in Octarius kind of boring, IMO. From what I understand, if you play Space Marines as a kill team, you have no option but to run only one fire team. That fire team can be either Tactical Marines, Intercessors, Assault Intercessors, Heavy Intercessors, Infiltrators, or Incursors (not sure if there's Reivers or Scouts as options, but I doubt it as those are Elites). No mixing allowed. If you take say an Assault Intercessor squad, you get one Sargeant with codex choice of weapons and four assault intercessors with heavy bolt pistols and chainswords. That is it. No adding additional past the five models, no second fire team, no mixing in a tactical marine with gravcannon or heavy intercessor with multimelta or intercessor with auto bolt rifle, nothing. Plus the books are $50 each (core rules book and compendium of units book) for what first addition had combined in one book for $40.

What kind of team did you have in mind? Since it won’t be played, you can still do first edition. I have all the books and would be happy to help out.

Here’s what I know about your team:

1) 100pts

2) Has to have a mixture of Scouts, Firstborn, and Primaris.

3) Can have no more than 10 marines in total

Here’s what I would like to know about your team:

1) What kind of theme are you running?

2) Are you using a specific chapter?

3) What kind of specialists are you wanting?

Answering these questions will really flesh out what to do for the team. It can determine if there are a true catch all force ir a band of sniperesque marksmen on the field. This will also help in the modeling phase of your project as it can give way to unique poses and character options on your models. Since your making a showcase piece here, why not go all out and do som nice characterful conversions?

Keep in mind for KT21 you get a full roster of 20 guys. That's roughly four complete teams for space marines. then you can pick which one you want to use after seeing the mission and the opponent's faction. I would put together a team of primaris, a team of firstborn, and a team of scouts, plus a few extras and options for firstborn and scouts,  and use each one to have a slightly different approach in games. Then you can further vary up the playstyle with the selectable equipment to augment guys and further cover weaknesses.

... The roster was a KT2018 thing first? And the OP is mostly thinking from a hobby perspective, so I don't know if the roater is relevant.
