angrom
Quick question Foretelling of locus allow us to redeploy even in deep strike up to 3 core units regardless of how many units are already in deepstrike. I see some people claiming that this allow us to put the whole army in deepstrike almost as it bypass the minimum number of unit to be on the table. However if I remember there is also a minimum half of of the points to be on the table limitation. What do you think? Sounds to me that we still have to leave half of the points on the table right? casb1965
The Foretelling of Locus kicks in AFTER both players have deployed. You are now past the deployment stage into the next phase which allows you to NOW redeploy either on the battlefield or in reserves. Captain Coolpants
Just don't literally remove your whole army or leave a tiny amount left. No units on the board during any phase means you lose. techsoldaten 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371308-foretelling-of-locus/#findComment-5731401 Share on other sites

Is that really the current rule? Used to be end of the game turn. Corvus Fortis
No, it only allows you to change placement of your units or put it in outflank for free. It is only core, unfortunately, so no outflanking rhinos/stormravens. Not finding this rule...  Under "Ending the Battle" in the core rulebook  Open Hostility says fifth turn or"... ends when all of the models in one player's army have been destroyed... "  Eternal War says fifth run or "..If one player has no models in their army at the start of their turn, the other player can continue to play out their turns..."  Not sure where else to look Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371308-foretelling-of-locus/#findComment-5731825 Share on other sites
Cleon
I thought that rule as removed with 9th. With the primary and secondary victory conditions I thought part of the point was you could wipe out your opponent and still lose.
