Brigade Detachment

Nuke Librarian w/ Stave(Vortex, Purifying Flame) WLT- FttF and Psychic Epitome,

Crowe (Warp Shaping) WLT - Hammer of Righteousness

Chaplain (Words of Power, Sanctuary) WLT - Unyielding Anvil

Apothecary (Gate) Brotherhood WLT yet to pick

6x 5man Strike Squads (30 strikes)

2x 5man Purifier Squads (10 strikes)

3x 5man Interceptor Squads (15 strikes)

3x 5man Purgation Squads (15 strikes)

70 Strike bodies

16 Psilencers

3 Psycannons

2k points exact and I think 8CP not counting Strategic Reserves...  Man! it gets so CP expensive so fast

Havent picked a Brotherhood yet although I think I have it narrowed to Radiants, Precients, Blades of Victory or Silver Blades (in order of preference)

I could drop Crowe for a Brotherhood Champion and get 20 points to play with.  4 more Psycannons or 1 more Psycannon and the Gem...

So Ill have to rely on Mortals and Psycannons for heavy armor, as there are no Hammers here.

Probably a :censored: idea, but it just started out as a test just to see if I could fit a GK list into a Brigade,  lol not a ton of wiggle room here

Yeah who needs anti-tank when you've got that much MW potential. Bro-Cap would be important for the +1, as you do want to get as many of those "spam" powers off. You could probably manage 3 Smites and 3 Flames pretty reliably (starting with the Libby), maybe 4 if you're lucky with the +1. Your other Strikes are going to want to Hammerhand and you might as well Astral Aim with the Purgators. Don't know how it would do against tough hordes like Orks or Lucius AdMech though, though you have a ton of Nemesis attacks. I love Chaplains but I do feel the Words of Power thing is a little overrated. Its pretty swingy on a 3+, otherwise its a pretty hefty CP tax. Versus the BC who gives you the re-roll aura (and is better in combat) even if you don't use the +1 to cast strat. I might even drop the Apothecary and load up on Psycannons instead of Psilencers, they're going to give you a lot more than the psilencers (which are basically AP -1 Storm Bolters at a -1 to Hit if you move), whereas Psycannons are going to be good against a variety of stuff - Ork boyz, Drukhari boats, AdMech chickens, Sororitas vehicles... Plus with that many turning on Convergence early and getting that 30" range can be sweet. I do like the Power Armor spam! Let us know how it goes when you try it out!

I'm not sure it'll be top tier but I think it'll definitely be competitive. That many bodies with force weapons and storm bolters walking about will force the enemy to address everything and you'd be strong on objectives and secondaries.

LOL I wouldnt know top tier if is bit me in the ass...

I havent played in about 20 years

That is also a lot of smites, if you take the bro cap you can get the +1 to cast from his strat

Its a lot of ATTEMPTS!.  Realistically one can only really expect 3-4 to go off yeah?  If you get 5 thats a mazing!

yeahhhh -  a lot of good stuff to consider here.

I think playing is is the only way to know wahts going to woork.  But certainly you can just unplug the Chaplin and plug in the BC without affecting the cost at all.

Now I just have to print and paint 70 Stirkes!...  lol

I’m new to GKs, but this is looking like a good start to build off. The only thing I’d suggest is combining a couple of your 5 man squads into 10. You’ll most likely always combat squad them. But, if you do come into a match where your opponent has one big thing you’ve got a nice big squad to drop all your buffs onto to care of it.

But then I cant fit it into a Brigade Detachment - if just BARELY fits

If I swithed over to the Battalion then yeah I could do that but Id give up a CP...  might be worth it - Ill ljust have to try

That makes sense. I blah blah’d your first line and missed you were running a brigade. My bad.
