Axilleas
GMNDK - Blades of Victory Teleporter Flex choice: Greatsword or Greathammer Heavy Psycannon Gatling Psilencer Warlord: FttF Exemplar of the Silver Host: Vanguard Aggression/Unyielding Anvil Gate of Infinity Empyric Amplification Gift of Prescient: Gem of Inoktu Relic: Sigil of Exigence The role of the Emperical Master is to offer aggressive support anywhere on the table. He has multiple choices for moving around the table (teleporter, Gate, Sigil) to help with critical charges or assassinations. Both shooting weapons benefit from Empyric Amplification and he has the tools to be where your army needs him most. Gem of Inoktu is to help with reliability, combined with cast +1 power strat, gives him flexibility to gate/reroll charges (allowing you to increase odds of other key units charges), or gate/empyric (potentially allowing you to bring the pain from a safe distance). With a little support from another character (or 2cp strat), he could get gated and then still reroll charges & +1 damage with psi/nemesis. The flexibility is what makes him such a dynamic threat. That being said, there is a lot of wiggle room for personal preferences. The main staples of the build are both Psi weapons, Teleporter, Gate, Empyric Amplification, FttF, & Sigil of Exigence. I am by no means a competitive player, but this build seems to have potential so I thought I'd share. Mr4Minutes
I like this with Prescient Brethren. Their strat is to reroll 1s to hit and wound. GMNDKs are hitting on 2s, and often wounding on 2s( I’m taking the +1w in cc if charge etc warlord trait), so the rerolls seem really good for consistent damage output. Don’t have my codex on me but doesn’t it state you can only re roll one of each? Mr4Minutes
It’s worded each time a model in that unit makes an attack, reroll a hit roll of 1 and a wound roll of 1. Each individual roll of a die is an attack. If you are doing fast dice, you reroll all 1s in both hits and wounds. Axilleas
That brotherhood strat certainly does keep the damage potential of the GM consistent, at the expense of more reliable charges. There seems to be a great amount of customization available for our GMs, which begs the question: How do you build your GM and what makes it the best build for your army/play style?
