Minotaurs as Imperial Fists Successor?

So, while I don't really plan to stick to the "recommended" rules for the Minotaurs, I was wondering if anyone had played as them using the IF successor rules with Stalwart and Duelists? How did they fare? Any tips? Are the special characters worth it?

While I'm not sure about the characters, I can say I have used Exorcists (Stalwart and warded IF Successors) to some degree of success. I think adding your character dread could just be helpful. Unfortunately, IF aren't in a great spot right now, but I've found that tougher models tend to win you games

Not used them but I imagine you could make a pretty beefy Primaris Captain or Captain in Bike with those tactics plus Angel artifice and half damage warlord trait. A real nightmare to take down and scary in melee.

I have not used them myself, but their named characters and Contemptor are highly competitive, rules wise.
