TheNewman
I'm curious about the Wrath of Heaven relic bike; whether anyone actually uses it, under what circumstance, whether it's been worth it over a different relic, whether you've converted a model to represent it, etc. And of course the most important question: will we get to keep it when the 9th ed Suppliment comes out. ...which, granted, is a purely speculative matter. TheNewman
Well, I went ahead and did it anyway, now I just have to keep my fingers crossed on the whole "staying legal in the next Supplement" issue: Edited September 28, 2021 by TheNewman brother_b, librisrouge and Warhead01 3 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/371775-relic-bikes/#findComment-5746950 Share on other sites
Prot
It looks great. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I am going to guess the relic bike will and should be there. It's an iconic unit and harkens back to the heresy era. As far as use, I used to have it in every list in 8th edition. In 9th I just find it's a little less important to me, but I still see it gets play. It's a solid relic. TheNewman
Fun fact: the base Outrider was already assembled, cutting it without damaging anything I wanted to keep was an adventure. I'd bought several of them second-hand as conversion fodder since I figure more "Primaris Character on a Bike" releases is a pretty safe bet over time, but I hadn't really thought through what the conversion process would look like for anything more complicated than a head/weapon swap + added bling. Tokugawa
Of course it could be legal! With proper weapon and base size, though. Marine already have unit that looks like flying, sell with flying stand base, but not fly in game rules. It's not obvious that he's a Primaris Chaplain on a Bike and therefore already legally armed and based?
