Very excited about the release of the new Atramentar rules and I'm trying to build a list around them! Any comments or suggestions would be very much appreciated so I can improve the list! Thanks for reading and have a great day!

So plan for this list is to put Sevatar in the drop pod with the 9 man Terror Squad and then bring down the Terminators in front of him without scattering due to Master of the Atramentar. The Terminator's are all scoring I believe, and the 2 ten man squads of Atramentar are troops. I suspect I'd struggle if someone went really air heavy, but every list has it's weaknesses. Not sure which Terminator squad to put the Primus Medicae with honestly. Some suggestions there would be great.

The main problem I can see with this is that turn 1 you are going to have a drop pod somewhere quite central and maybe a hidden terror squad on the board. I’m going to concentrate all fire on that line droppod and it’s content, and turn 2 they probably aren’t going to be there…

also if your using Terror Assault as your RoW you need to have three units of Terror Squads I’m afraid. Overall the idea of using Sevatar as teleport point is fluffy and cool, but I would drop at least one of the units of terminators ( if not two, but make the Atramentar  you keep a 15 man squad), add another small 5 man terror squad and use the other points to add more units in the table to start with. Or add extra dropods so you have at least two coming down on turn one, perhaps one with a leviathan in or something. 

I'd rather make use of Sev's Warlordtrait and infiltrate him in a Atramentar-Unit along with three squads of Night Raptors (for a guaranteed 2nd round charge).

then you can drop the Contekar ant other Atramentar Squad around him.

This way, you have alot more threat on the table and your opponent must at least split his fire, instead of auto-deleting your sev-squad! ^^

 

I'm also not a big fan of the FireRaptor in general. If i only have one HS-slot, i'd rather take a dropping Leviathan, but that's just my preference i guess... =]

Edit: it just came to my mind - levi getting shroud from the pod, plus stealth - throw in some intervening terrain/units and that fat bastard has a 2+ cover-safe first turn... noice!

Thanks for the feedback! You're right about having to take Terror Squads/Raptors! I thought it just made them compulsory troops...

What do ya'll think of this list? I thought the idea of infiltrating 3 units of Raptors was pretty cool so I integrated that into the list. Sev will be infiltrating with the more expensive unit of Atramentar and then bringing down the smaller unit of Contekar, and other Atramentar down around him.
