So, I ordered two Black Templar launch boxes, and I'm gonna sell the extra book and cards. I'm also going to use a spare skull head and crozius to convert my second Emperor's Champion into a chaplain. I will use the second Marshal just so I can have both load outs.

So that means I have the following for my crusade:

1x Converted Gravis Marshal with Power Sword and Boltstorm Gauntlet
1x Castellan with Power Sword and Heavy Bolt Pistol
2x Marshals from Launch Box
1x Converted Chaplain
1x Primaris Emperor's Champion
1x Primaris Apothecary
2x Redemptor Dreadnoughts: Planning to build both with Plasma, Onslaught, and Stormbolters
10x Intercessors with Auto Boltrifles, one sergeant with Power Sword and one with Power Fist
20x Crusaders: unsure how to build them for two teams.
1x Impulsor

I also have two sets of the Black Templar Redemptor upgrade from pop goes the monkey, and about 120 shoulder crosses from them as well. I also have quite a few bits left from the old upgrade sprue.

Pictures and Lore will follow once I have time to take them and write some lore.

Update: I have decided on my painting scheme and task, I want to paint them close to a 3rd edition paint style. I have always wanted to capture the magic of those old armies, and I have a photo of an old Black Templar with a black shoulder pad and white cross. I plan to paint my models in the clean and simple style of old GW, and am considering replicating the old PVA glue, sand, then "goblin green" all over for bases. I am also planning to slowly gather older OOP metal and plastic early models and paint them for a display army alongside them.

Assemble both right arm guns for them - you don't even need to magnetise them as the fit around the little square peg that slots the gun into the rest of the arm is tight enough to just be able to swap them back and forth as required, and the sprue includes two of the little pivots you need to assemble both guns.

This is good to know, I only ever built an ETB redemptor that I painted for a friend. I am excited to have two join my crusade.

My only planned purchases are Helbrecht, Grimaldus, another box of Crusaders, and a box of Sword Brothers. Those will wait until I paint up what I have now so that I don't build up too much of a pile.
