So now i got the bodyguard for "Dante".

I used the new sanguinary guard as i quite liked their poses or at least i saw the potential.

Last one for now is a Terminator Marshal. This one has the most standard gear of a Marshal in Terminator armor. Sword and bolter! 

So now i have some one who can count as Belial. Not that his rules are any good atm but that doesnt matter.

As always, pretty dope stuff. And as always seeing your works makes me sort of want to venture into 'different painting styles.'

 

Did you try 'something else' on the latest miniature's armour? I'm not sure from the picture, but it looks like he wears a chain mail or has some kind of metallic texture on the torso and thighs which appears to be different than your regular stippling/battle damage.

 

Also, the assault squad from November is particularly epic.

Yes it is chainmail i have tried to sculpt in the bigfer armour joints and also like he is wearing a hauberk under his tabard. The pictures dont really catch them all that well. 

I did the same on the latest bladeguard squad and Lieutenant for them. So that he will fit in with them :)

Time for some phobos reinforcements. Wasnt always the biggest fan of the tacticool aspects of this. But they are cool. So i had to add some at one point. I wanted them to be a bit more stealthy so i left the shoulders black and freehanded the white cross on that wasnt filled in. I think it looks kinda cool.

Added some exhausts as i didnt thi k just the flaps were enough to make them able to fall from the skies and land safely.

I once had a landing pad terrain piece. Painted it, used it, and eventually sold it because we didn't like it as a terrain piece. Sometimes I regret that decision.

See! Its something about that piece ... its one of the best terrain pieces they made imo in terms of looks, and how you can put a unit on it, etc ... but I think its because of its big footprint and all that space underneath it that is hard to use?

Its just so good looking i just use it. Its big but its just asks for epic fights on top of it. Treat it as a ruin and just put minis on top when they are inside it :)
