Felt like posting this here as well, because people might not see it

So, Wargaming's World of Warships announced a second next collaboration between Wargaming's naval combat arcade game and Games Workshop.

Why is it here? Well, if the title of the thread didn't clue you all in...

TIER VIII CL* CROSS OF DORN AND HER COMMANDER: AUGUSTIN RIEGERWALD

A reskinned German Cruiser Mainz***. Mainz is a variant of the Admiral Hipper-class [specifically Cruisers K and L, Seydlitz and Lützow] with a proposed armament of Twelve (4x3) 150mm rifles opposed to the Admiral Hipper-class' normal Eight (4x2) 203mm rifles)

Also a patch that's available for free in-game by completing a mission chain:

From Wargaming's blurb:

flag_Germany_18970d883c7758b53538983bd09premium_1114542bcd311c388080eea3a4d54a7eVIII Cross of Dorn is one of the most closely guarded secrets of the Black Templars. Only a few chosen Brothers know of its very existence, as it lays dormant deep in the Reclusiam hangars of the Eternal Crusader, flagship of the Templars’ fleets and Chapter’s Fortress-Monastery. This ship was the gift, reward, and blessing, given by Rogal Dorn to the newborn Chapter and its first High Marshal Sigismund. It is ancient like time itself, dating back to the early days of the Dark Age of Technology. Looking deceptively small, compared to the gargantuan vessels of Chapter’s fleets, it holds the mysterious and now forbidden powers of that long-forgotten era.

Cross of Dorn, along with her Xenos foe, Ship Smasha, are newly available in the Armory (WoWs' in-game shop) in the following formats:

Cross of Dorn and Ship Smasha (just the Ships with the Special Commanders with 3 Skill Points and a combat mission for the vessel) are available for 11,300 and 10,300 Doubloons each, respectively (IE: around 30 USD)**

Cross of Dorn and Ship Smasha Admiral Packs (Ships with the Special Commanders with 10 Skill Points and a combat mission for the vessel, a special commemorative flag for each ship, 120 of the special camos for each, 5.4 million Credits [in-game non-premium currency used for purchasing Tech Tree ships and modules for ships], 150 each of the signals Equal Speed Charlie London, India Bravo Terrathree, Zulu, Zulu Hotel, Papa Papa) are available for 23,850 and 22,850 Doubloons each, respectively  [20% off actual price]

Warhammer 40,000: New Era "Super Bundle": Both of above Admiral Packs with an additional two patches for 36,450 Doubloons (IE: around 160 USD) [35% off actual price]

The bundles/ships are purchasable until Friday, November 19th 3:00 AM PT / (Fri. Nov. 19 5:00 AM EST).

Additionally, the Patch and Augustin Riegerwald can be obtained for free by completing mission chains-in game:

To obtain your choice of either the Black Templars Cross or Ork Skull patch, you need to keep placing in the top 5 players of your team in terms of XP earned, secure damage upon your spotting, and deal damage. To obtain the other patch, continue to fulfill these conditions and complete the second chain with a higher difficulty level. As a reward for completing stages of the chains, you will receive themed expendable camouflages.

You can complete the combat mission chains in Ranked, Random, and Co-op Battles, as well as in Operations and Brawls, playing Tier V–X ships.

To obtain Augustin Riegerwald or Grotmaz Smart, you need to win battles, secure damage upon your spotting, and earn "Captured" and "Assisted in capture" ribbons, as well as deal damage with torpedoes and by causing flooding. As a reward for completing stages of the combat mission chain, you will receive themed expendable camouflages.

The Commanders have unique voiceovers and come with 6 skill points. You can have an unlimited number of identical Warhammer 40,000 Commanders simultaneously.

You can complete these chains of combat missions in Ranked, Random, and Co-op Battles, as well as in Operations, playing Tier V–X ships.

I'll definitely be picking this (along with the other ones) up because I was actually planning on getting Mainz anyways :laugh.: For anyone who's interested in the ship, but want a breakdown before any money spending: Former WoWS Community Contributor LittleWhiteMouse posted a review of Mainz when she was released.

*For those not in the know with naval ship classifications, CL means Light Cruiser.
**Note: By World of Warships standards, this is actually a really good deal. Because the ships these two are reskins of (Mainz and Fenyang) are 45.20 and 41.20, respectively.
***For those wondering, this is what Mainz looks like so you can compare how much they changed the model and skin:
