Due to lack of space and time it will not happen soon. But I would like to create a display board, with a battle between the Raptors Chapters and World eaters inside an Imperial city. Civilians fleeing, Raptors trying to stop hordes of deamons, cultists and crazed berzerkers, both cultists and World eaters alike. The Raptors and the World Eaters are so far apart when it comes to warfare so it could be nice to try to create something showing those two opposite armies.

So many pet projects for me that failed to get off the ground. I once wanted to make an Imperial Guard army based on the Brotherhood of Nod from the Command and Conquer series. I feel the Genestealer cults have a more suitable army list for that now with buggies and bikes and the theme of being an uprising...The Brotherhood's leader doesn't have any hair, it's almost made to go together! :p Similarly, I want to make some terrain for my Ork army. I'd like to make a mek workshop inspired by the Command and Conquer construction yard able to house some Battlewagons. I've either been lazy or trying to clear my scary pile of plastic so it's pretty much stuck on the backburner for now.

I also wanted to run a Tech Guard army right up until  the Adeptus Mechanicus finally got an official model range, at which point my dream army pretty much landed right in my lap. I would love to top that army off with an Ordinatus Ulator but the size and cost of such a project scares me.

I also want to own a large chunk of the plastic Blood Bowl teams, but that's a story for another place.

Apart from that the rest is just catching up with my pile of shame.

I keep having recurring thoughts of doing a Great Unclean one in pink with yellow spots, green eyes and a big smiling mouth. And maybe a tiny bearded Nurgling next to him.

Thankfully GUOs are too expensive for a stupid joke like this to ever get off the ground, but if I ever found one for cheap enough...

Oh I think it'd have to be Noel Erebus Edmunds. They love the occult symbols.

for me its stuff like fire raptors, thunderhawks, and stormravens. i really would love to do one but the sheer cost and the nightmares i hear from people putting them together. my mental state just couldnt cope with that.

Pretty much any project I've started in the last eight years! :D

I always find the main factors are time and scale. Projects can be such a massive commitment if you are not actively gaming and the hobby is extremely expensive these days. Especially when ideas come thick and fast. An idea may seem amazing at first and the first few models are great to make but it can drag after a while so I think the best approach is to aim small or break the project down into small pieces. I think the Crusade system is especially good for that. For someone like myself who was always more interested in sharing ideas and showing people how to make things maybe even more so.

Having said that I have just built a complete truescale Astartes army that I cannot stop grinning like an idiot at but just need to sit down and paint so I'm close but not there yet and a 40k army that is completely and insanely outside the box and I so badly want to show off but again it's getting time to sit down and paint.

I did start a dream project a few years ago, fully detailed 3D interior of a hive ship for Advanced Space Crusade but it was too much work at the time. Even better though I'd love a full on Imperial Crusade with Black Templars, Admech, Sisters and Guard. Oh and a return Cosmic Space Knights...(of Doom) so I can see how they cope with Primaris being a thing that would be genuinely fun.

In no particular order;

Assemble and paint the Warhound Titan my brother 3D printed for me, it's been in a box for three years now....

Re-Build my 2nd Ed Dark Angels Battle Company, with support vehicles (unfortunately the original army was lost to an overly religious family member)

1000pts of Legion of the Damned

Finish the Skirmish game I'm designing, and the accompanying models

I've always wanted to make a SM army using the four quarter color schemes seen on Chapters like the Howling Griffons and Brazen Claws.  Too timid.

The other one i wouldn't be able to decide on is a properly done 2nd edition army, complete with bright colors, green bases and back banners.
