Valkyrion
Tactical Arrow or Assault Cross shoulder icons, speaking generically? Doctor Perils
How do you mean generically? I think it varies legion to legion, and even sometimes within a single legion. Gorgoff
Mine (IW) have black shoulder pads because they are Black Ops in my head canon. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/372185-legion-seeker-squads/#findComment-5760223 Share on other sites
LameBeard
I have seen some Frater make up their own symbol / a stylised target sight Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/372185-legion-seeker-squads/#findComment-5760257 Share on other sites
GodEmperorOfMankind
Personal preference it comes down to I think. Tactical arrow out of those two would be my opinion, as assault cross would be for melee units, at least in my head. Ripper.McGuirl
I went the same way as Gorgoff and blacked them out.Of your options, I would go with tactical arrow, as they are basically just a tactical squad with better guns. I think a veteran marking would work, too. But overall, I would say they need their own symbol, like the destroyers have. Slips
I painted my IF Seekers in a sort of Autumn Camo pattern (to keep them yellow) and basically put no insignias on them because of that. Lucien Eilam
I think the colour plates referencing Seekers at all are for the Alpha Legion and Dark Angels, neither of which use Principia Belicosa markings in these examples. But the Alpha Legion one states: Unknown Legionary Unknown Squad/Unknown Unit Affiliation Wargear indicates operation as ‘Seeker’ Tactical sub-type The Invasion of Paramar Assault on the Paramar Terminus Complex Pict-Render: Conflict Zone 34/71 And they don’t have the stat-line to be Veterans. So, everything points to treating them as a specialised Tactical Squad. Noserenda
I have apparently angled all my Seekers right shoulders away from camera in all but one WIP shot but seems i did company marking :D 12440298_10153973281210797_6606877755675876051_o I would probably go for an Elite marking to help pick them out though, it is very easy to confuse them with Tactical marines if you havent converted them otherwise! depthcharge12 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/372185-legion-seeker-squads/#findComment-5760341 Share on other sites
