ChargingSoll
This is a thread more to see what people think of the future of the neo-volkite from cawl. With the pistol being 2 shots would be interested to see what stats a Rifle would get especially if it keeps the mortal wounds on 6s to wound. Assault 3 or rapid 2. BloodyB
I honestly thought the Eradicators would have a Volkite option, rather than the Heavy Meltas. I just thought they would have a secondary anti-horde option. I would love to see more Volkite, they have suck cool lore and would go well with my army. It should be rare, but I would like to see a squad equipped with them. Maybe a 1st Co. Squad, the Stern guard to the Blade guard's Vanguard Vets? I'd like to see a three-man squad of Volkite rifle guys with storm shields? A sort of breacher squad load out? I would probably call them 'Hellguard' or 'Stormguard', something in theme at least. But yeah, I think some more Volkite could be fun. Tbh I was extremely surprised (and excited) when I saw the choom return to modern marines. Lord_Ikka
I could see Suppressors getting a heavy volkite option- something that is good at stopping MEQ. They haven't released a stand-alone Suppressors kit either... SkimaskMohawk
Well I think you guys need to look at the heresy weapons that actually gave rise to neovolkite. You have the serpenta, a pistol that got tossed out the window. You have the charger, an assault 2, 15 inch gun that looks and functions...exactly like the neo pistol. You have the caliver, a heavy 2, 30 inch gun that was STR 6. And then the culverin, a heavy 4, 45 inch gun that was also STR 6. So theyd probably use the culverin as the next implemented volkite. Majkhel
Caliver (S5) is present in 40k on the Leviathan Dread. Granted it's kinda 'relic' in that sense. I would also expect to see the culverin verision the soonest.
