Hello,

My wife recently bought me the Deathwing companions and a Praetor, so I guess i'm starting  AoD Dark Angels.

I've started off kitbashing an Enigmatus cabal, mostly because I realised I had the bits lying around and to try to get a handle on painting black (35 years in the hobby and I've never painted black power armour!), so apologies for the rough paintjob on this guy, hopefully I get the hang of it.

Howdy, been a while as I've been focusing mainly on my Chaos Dwarfs for the last couple of months, but I have found time to finish off my Enigmatus Cabal and a Consul.

Nice use of parts for the consul.

Thanks dude, Rann is a very nice model and pretty easy to de-Fist. Having more problems with Zac Efron, but I reckon he'll make a good Night Lord, or maybe Alpha Legion when I'm done.

Lovely work there, I have to say! Checkers are really fun to do. If you decide painting them by hand is a bit much, you can get transfer sheets of them from ebay for about £6 a sheet with various sizes. I did some DA few years back and it made doing a lot of them a lot easier. That said, yours look great (defo not a criticism).

Always happy to see more of the First :-)
