Okay this issue is really nagging me! .... so Chaplain Rafael is felled with one blow across the face by the Abominant?

Really? .. I kinda think it was final, they didn't tend to his wound, or anything .... according to their actions "He's dead Jim!"

I'll be pretty disappointed if thats the end of Chaplain Rafael.

To the mods, I apologize if this is the wrong forum for this topic. I wasn't 100% sure? Edited by Brother Tyler

This is an Abominant with Power Sledgehammer? That would kill a chaplain if his conversion field failed.

Don't see the problem here, if you wanted him to die to multiple small injuries that would mean fighting something other than an enemy hero with a, I repeat, POWER SLEDGEHAMMER. The whole point of 40k is that every faction has its own Badass heroes, it doesn't make a Chaplain less badass to be killed by an enemy badass, it being one hit is more down to the exact nature of that enemy.

There is an existing thread - but also a question of a "in real life" versus a "game" reality here? No saving throws, no special abilities - your head is your most vulnerable point, and brain the thing that needs to be preserved. That sledgehammer might have turned his brain to jelly the minute it connected - we don't know - but they have the ability to tell through their armour and senses.

It was a cutting edge that broke through the helm.

I’m still hoping he will pop up and say “Hey guys did I miss anything?” Awesome character, and it was not super clear it was a killing blow. His head didn’t split in half. I know, I know, hope is the road to disappointment.
