Zebulon
Because I cannot help myself, and I keep coming up with new DIY chapters. The thing is, I love the White Scars but I just have to be different; meanwhile none of the canon successor chapters really grabbed my attention. The Dark Hunters seemed quite cool, but then they ruined them by changing their combat doctrine. Speed is ever more appealing than stealth to me. So, I haven’t decided on what to do with the shoulder pads yet, but here’s a WIP colourscheme. Fluff to follow. Thoughts welcome… librisrouge and brother_b 2 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/372465-sable-scars-successor-chapter/ Share on other sites
Gamiel
So, I haven’t decided on what to do with the shoulder pads yet, but here’s a WIP colourscheme. Fluff to follow. Suggest using the WS scars shoulderpad but painting the symbol black, or at least the lightning bolt. Zebulon
Suggest using the WS scars shoulderpad but painting the symbol black, or at least the lightning bolt. I think that’s right; but then whether to have the background silver/grey or maybe white, and on the other shoulder pad whether to go black with the designation marking in white, silver or red- these are the little things I am not sure on yet. Who ruined the dark hunters and how? Personal preference but I really liked all their fluff except for this idea that they favour stealth over speed. If they had kept to that overwhelming love for the swift attack instead of being sneaky RG types, I might have gone for a little force of Dark Hunters. But as it is I would prefer to do my own DIY whereby they adhere more closely to the WS way of war… Johanhgg 1 Back to top Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/372465-sable-scars-successor-chapter/#findComment-5767916 Share on other sites

My scars are more of a stealthy rapid strike force, I do have a lot of bikes but has transformed to more assault squads, eliminators and ambush-type of force. I do think the “stealthy” opens up to use dark hunters in your way, if you wish.
