Thanks! Of course his pistol can be an issue since his current rules list him as a "chaplain with jump pack" and an absolver bolt pistol is not available as a gun choice. But unless you're playing in a strict tournament or with a [person] that doesn't accept any amount of proxy, lol you should be fine?

 

I play with close friends so no concern there for me. I guess one could always magnetize pistols? lol.

Oh it's definitely going to be a labor of love lol. I'll get better at it the more I do it.

 

Might use a pencil to draw it out and then just paint in the black parts? A good friend suggested that. 

 

What I did was paint a horizontal line splitting the upper white half. Then painted a black line going from top bottom in the middle of the white half. Then painted two black lines to either side going from top to bottom. Then filled in the black parts.

I don't normally post unpainted models but I was pretty stoked with this veteran intercessor sergeant kit-bash. I use my intercessors all the time, so he will get painted and he will get used! I used an ICC kit, the older primaris Dark Angels upgrade sprue, and I'm not 100% sure on the slung bolt rifle bits? Either a Sternguard kit or Intercessor kit?
