So I've decided to start a templars army, but I've never played in 9th before, and I've never played templars before. My biggest issue is which way to go with crusader squads (shooty/assaulty/mix or big/min size)...This is what I have, would this be a decent all comers list?

It looks decent to me, however if you haven't played 9th you may wanna split this in half and play some thousand point games. It'll help you get to know the rules without having to worry about squire as many units.
Fair enough. It looks like what I often play with my space wolves in 9th and I think it will be decent. I do wonder if you have enough anti tank/monster punch. I personally like an Eradicator Squad or 2. The melee does well off the dreads, however if they screen well you may have a hard time getting to those targets. The plasma is good but d6 shots is swimgy and hard to truly rely on.
Hmmm valid point. The chappy can hit at S8 and I figured the vanguard vets can handle some heavy things with the Thammer, and the ability to put out Mortal Wounds, but maybe I should find a way to put in some eradicators or an attack bike or something. Any suggestions on what I should take out?
Honestly, maybe the Impulsor. Its not super durable, and is pretty pricy for a ride that will likely die before it gets your Bladeguard where you want em. And it does cost the same as Eradicators or a couple attack bikes. Also the Blade guard are pretty decent running up without a ride with advance moves and can benefit from cover better than in a ride. I p÷royally haven't had much luck with my Repulsors being more than targets.
