As AenarIT said Wayland, Element did but they stopped it. The only other I know of is OnTableTop but they are different as they are based in (Northern?)Ireland so they are still in the EU Market and can send to Europe without tax problems for now atleast.

Just a little post to let you know that both the UK and EU sections have had a number of stores added. I also have a couple more sat waiting on my offline copy which should hopefully be uploaded tomorrow evening.

Apologies to Black-Knight however, as I've not yet had the time to research who does and doesn't offer EU-friendly postage!

My guess is people are too lazy to build, or too stupid to check the contents against the box? It baffles me how they can be in business though with their prices so high.

I ask myself that every day about GW.

Have you added Goblin Gaming to the list? Only used them a few times, not ordered since they let me down on the promise of same day dispatch. Harsh maybe but dont advertise something proudly if you cant keep to it. *shrugs*

They know that we'll either pay them for £££, or buy through third party retailers (where they still make £) Edited by pawl

My first choice in the UK is https://www.boardinbrum.co.uk/ - based in the Midlands near Walsall and it also has a good size gaming hall. Very friendly, good prices and a lot of regular groups (horus heresy, 40k, crisis protocol etc). They're local to me so like to support them.

For the cheapest options I go with https://www.hobbyworkshop.co.uk/

25% discount on pre orders and they still have free shopping when you include spray cans which Element don't do anymore.

Maybe you were unlucky? I've ordered from them a fair few times, and the only time it wasn't dispatched the same day was when I ordered something a week and a half before Christmas last year (so, busiest time of year + pandemic).  Obviously sucks when it happens to you and you're counting on it! :(

A nice idea somewhat compromised by the fact that the store you're highlighting above all the others (Element Games) is objectively the worst discount out of the four UK-based retailers you've linked to.

Just thought I would let you know that Element no longer feature on the list - there have been a load of updates since my last post, with them being a rather major one.

Another store for London that offers 20% discount + postage is Bad Moon Cafe.

It works out about the same as Darksphere but is further South so for us dirty Saaarf Londoners it's much easier for collecting orders.

It's also a fantastic store/gaming space/cafe and I like to support them because it's my closest FLGS / gaming space. :smile.:

Based in Shoreham, offering 25% off GW prices. They don't always manage to keep the website up to date, but if you drop them a message on Facebook they can always get the current pre-orders and new releasess.

I understand why you're highlighting Element and at least you have the decency to say as much in your article, but you don't need to mislead people about what Element offer, and describing it as "up to 25% off" feels pretty disingenuous when frankly if they do have any GW product at 25% off, I can't find it on their site. Unless you're buying at launch when they do a slightly better level of discount, it's typically 15% off and that is substantially worse than the others on your list.

It's an easy mistake to make and likely no malice intended, Element advertise themselves as 15-25% off RRP. Brother Pawl has created a useful resource here, there isn't any need to point fingers

To add a Hampshire based store: https://www.blackholegaming.co.uk/

I believe their normal discount is 15-20%, they have a 30% off GW minatures sale until the 15th of December

Apparently these guys never got added before! Their discount seems to be a pretty consistent 25%, so they've made the list. Next update will be within the hour

Their pre-orders seem to be at 20%, but everything else I can find is at the 10% off mark, which isn't high enough to make the cut unfortunately. =[ If that changes (or I've missed something obvious) then I will of course look at them again!

Edit: Added anyway due to the 20% off pre-orders. Turns out I've already done that for at least one UK store, so it would be wrong not to include them too!

About to get added to the list. =]

Just thought I would bump this back up. Since the last update the list has been moved to a new home at the Warhamateur site, and a few stores have been added. In particular I happened across a Spanish store that offers a better discount than Goblin Trader. =]

For those that don't want to navigate back to the first post for the new link: click =]
